Harriett Wieder Joins Electropure As Senior Consultant

Former Orange County Supervisor Allied With Breakthrough Health Technology Company

Wieder, one of Orange County's most distinguished and respected citizens, has been appointed Senior Consultant to the Company's Advisory Committee for its newly-formed subsidiary, Micro Imaging Technology.

Mrs. Wieder will lend her extensive water technology and political experience as well as her international contacts to the Company's management staff, with a particular emphasis on furthering Electropure's recently announced breakthrough technology for the instantaneous detection and identification of fluid-borne microorganisms. Wieder also sponsored and initiated the Hazardous Waste Toxic Round-Up Program, founded the Cal-Optima public-private health care agency for the indigent population; the Orange County Health Care Task Force; the Urban Parks Program, established the Committee on Domestic Violence, among other accomplishments. She holds an Honorary Doctor of Law Degree from Pepperdine University, a Certificate of Management from Harvard University, John F. Kennedy School of Government, and a Certificate from the Graduate School of Business Administration at UCLA.
