HERNDON, Va., June 9, 2000 (PRIMEZONE)-- Logicon Inc., a Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC) company, has announced an agreement to be the exclusive distributor of Tivoli Enterprise(TM) information technology (IT) management products for desktop and security management to the U.S. Air Force.
The two-year agreement, which initially provides for sales and maintenance, will provide the Air Force with the lowest available price for these Tivoli Enterprise management software products.
"Through this agreement with Tivoli(R), Logicon has removed an impediment -product cost - from the acquisition and implementation of enterprise systems management environments in the Air Force," said Vince Steckler, vice president of Logicon's Application Solutions unit. "The Air Force will now be able to acquire an industry-leading capability at an exceptional discount off the list price, and the agreement ensures top-notch service to assist in product implementation."
