BELLEVUE, Wash., July 13, 2000 (PRIMEZONE) -- Unity Wireless (a dba of Sonic Systems Corporation of Delaware) (OTCBB:ZSON) is pleased to announce that Mr. Robert Kubbernus has joined the Board of Directors and that Dr. Reza Amin has joined the Advisory Board of its wholly owned subsidiary, Unity Wireless Integration (S) Pte Ltd.
Mr. Kubbernus has over 16 years of financial and operating experience working with high tech firms and currently serves as Chairman and CEO of JAWS Technologies Inc., a Toronto, Ontario-based provider of information risk management strategies and products. At JAWS, his primary responsibilities are to oversee the company's strategic direction and develop key contacts within government, corporations, clients, insurance underwriters and the investment community.

Before joining JAWS Technologies in 1997, he had raised more than $475 million in debt financing for his long-term corporate client base and co-founded another successful high technology company, FutureLink Corp. Currently, Mr. Kubbernus is also a principal of Oxford Capital Group, a private, high technology investment company, in addition to sitting on the Boards of Directors of Electronic Substrate Systems and YourNet, and the Advisory Board of e financial depot.com.

His experience extends from University professor and chancellor, to executive management positions and a 10-year tenure with the World Bank where he undertook assignments around the world.

As a Senior Industry Specialist to the World Bank's Industry Department, Dr. Amin also coordinated their Industry Program in China where they contributed to economic studies, designed and reviewed feasibility studies, and assisted in the identification, preparation, appraisal and supervision of projects.
