Lucy's Laundrymart(r) to Help Wash Out Digital Divide in Los Angeles and Load Inner-city Community With Internet Access

iLucy's Internet plaza and new Web site, iLucys.com, to educate customers and fill community need

LOS ANGELES, July 27, 2000 (PRIMEZONE)

WHAT: Meeting a local demand, Lucy's LaundryMart(R) will
be opening an iLucy's Internet plaza and launching
iLucys.com, a language and neighborhood specific
Internet portal targeted to the company's customers.
The in-store effort will consist of six computer
kiosks providing Internet access to customers via a
Lucy's Club Card - all of which can be used while
their laundry is being done. The iLucys.com Internet
plaza will have trained staff on hand to assist with
computers and the iLucys.com Web site will help
those not familiar with the Internet learn Internet
navigation and how to access information.
