NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., August 10, 2000 (PRIMEZONE) - Pacific Investment Management Company LLC ("PIMCO"), announced today that Andrea S. Feingold has been named Executive Vice President, Portfolio Manager, High Yield.
Ms. Feingold, 36, was formerly a Managing Director and founder of Triumph Capital's high yield group in Boston, and prior to that, a portfolio manager of two Morningstar five-star high yield funds for Colonial Management. In late August, Ms. Feingold will join Benjamin Trosky, Managing Director and head of PIMCO's High Yield Group as an additional senior high yield portfolio manager. "The addition of Andrea bolsters our already outstanding high yield team and further enhances our excellent group of fixed income specialists to ensure PIMCO's lead in the search for the best credit opportunities around the world," said Mr. Trosky. "She joins other recent PIMCO hires in the United States and Europe who will help us to maintain our position in these markets."
PIMCO also announced that it has named Ian O'Keeffe a Vice President in the portfolio management group. Mr. O'Keeffe is a former Vice President of Triumph Capital Group where he focused on high yield investment management. He was previously employed by Colonial Management, Boston; and Massachusetts Financial Services Company, Boston.

Ms. Feingold is a graduate of Columbia University, Barnard College, with a bachelor of arts degree in economics. She received her Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 1993.
