Roland Sartorius Appointed CFO of Unity Wireless Corporation


BELLEVUE, Wash., Sept. 13, 2000 (PRIMEZONE) -- Mr. Roland Sartorius has joined Unity Wireless Corporation (OTCBB:UTYW) as a director and as the Company's Chief Financial Officer effective September 1, 2000. Mr. Sartorius has over 12 years experience as Chief Financial Officer in several public and private multinational companies.

Most recently, Mr. Sartorius was based in Switzerland and held the CFO position with a private venture capital firm managing three equity funds with invested capital totaling Sfr 225 million (approximately US$125 million). His focus is corporate finance, public/private offering syndication, strategic planning, financial reporting and controls, international tax planning, compliance and investor relations.

From 1981 to 1988, Mr. Sartorius was employed with KPMG, initially as an auditor and subsequently as a Management Consultant in the firm's Corporate Finance department. Mr. Sartorius, a Certified General Accountant, holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Business Administration degree from the University of British Columbia and currently serves on the Boards of Directors of several private companies.
