NEW YORK, Feb. 2, 2001 (PRIMEZONE) -- This spring, the GM Design Group: KENAR, Womyn, Garfield & Marks and Pleinair, are joining together as Title Sponsors to help raise awareness for Dress for Success and Clean Your Closet Week by providing low-income women with key fashion items for the workplace.

If everyone would get involved with a cause, even in the smallest way, the world would be a better place. The GM Design Group and their close family of brands KENAR, Womyn, Garfield & Marks and Pleinair know the need and importance of giving back. Using their unique group of brands the GM Design Group creates up-to the minute styles in the highest quality fabrications, addressing every woman's fashion needs.

Dress for Success helps low-income women make tailored transitions into the workforce. Since launched in 1996, Dress for Success, has assisted more than 50,000 women. During the week of March 17th - 24th, 2001, Dress for Success will celebrate Clean Your Closet Week in over 60 major cities throughout the world.

For the past three years the GM Design Group: KENAR, Womyn Garfield & Marks and Pleinair have worked closely with Dress for Success and Clean Your Closet Week. The GM Design Group understands the changing definitions of business appropriate dressing.
