SelfShip to Launch on Morris Communications Websites

MISSION, Kan., March 13, 2001 (PRIMEZONE) -- SelfShip.com, a Nescrow Technologies, Inc. product, will be launched with Morris Communications on many of their newspaper and independent Websites. Currently, SelfShip(tm) is on HorseCity.com and will be added to 30 newspaper sites plus other Morris properties over the next several weeks.

"Rolling out SelfShip on all of our Websites is a natural fit for Morris Communications," said Michael Romaner, Director of Morris DigitalWorks. "By adding SelfShip, we will give our customers the opportunity to complete their buy/sell transactions without ever leaving our site, or for that matter, never leaving their home or their business."

SelfShip(tm) is the shipping component of the Web's first fully integrated online buying and selling system. For the first time, SelfShip(tm) allows consumers and businesses to initiate shipments and choose a preferred carrier from a single site.

Customers will select a transportation carrier for package pickup from any specified location -- even their own front door. They may insure, pay, label, ship and track their packages from a single Website in the comfort of their home or office. SelfShip(tm) may be accessed at www.SelfShip.com or www.Nescrow.com. Nescrow has selected Federal Express as its preferred air carrier, and FedEx will be the first carrier integrated into the Website. The selection of FedEx ensures customers the ability to get merchandise to the destination quickly and to have pricing that is competitive with commercial shipping counters

"Convenience and ease of use are what we believe really makes SelfShip(tm) attractive to customers," said CEO William Rodgers. "You no longer have to load your packages into your car and then travel to a commercial shipping counter and wait in line, especially the long lines during holiday shipping rushes. It is also an excellent method to return items that you may have received."

Other transportation companies will be added in the coming months to allow the customer still more options. "SelfShip(tm) will add a full menu of shipping options ranging from local, one-hour courier services to truckload shipments to shipments of unusual items, such as live animals or vintage automobiles and eventually international shipments," said Rodgers.

About Nescrow Technologies

SelfShip(tm) is a product of Nescrow Technologies, Inc., and is the shipping component of NTP(tm) (Net Transaction Protocol), the e-business solution that provides an exclusive, electronically integrated purchasing and fulfillment process for the buyers and sellers of merchandise online.

The NTP(tm) process is designed to counter transaction fraud, create security, and streamline consumer-to-consumer, business-to-consumer and business-to-business sales in the Web environment. Internet Fraud Watch stated that 87% of fraud on the Internet is contained on auction sites. Nescrow expects to launch its buying and selling fraud protection product called PayNShip, in the very near future.

NTP(tm) provides for the purchase, pickup, delivery and return of any size, type or price of merchandise via SelfShip(tm). NTP(tm) also provides a mechanism for payment, and is the first system to automatically escrow both the buyer's funds and the seller's goods until the sale is completed to the satisfaction of both.

Nescrow is also a provider of consulting, programming and integrated platforms for Web-based cash management and payment systems for financial institutions.

Rodgers founded Nescrow Technologies, Inc. to integrate and automate the elements necessary for efficient and secure e-commerce transactions online. The NTP(tm) business process has a patent pending.
