Eficor Participates in Infocom Start-Up Case Study


HELSINKI, Finland, May 31, 2001 (PRIMEZONE) -- Eficor Consulting, part of Eficor Group, announces a case study of 8 Finnish start-up companies on Thursday, May 31, 2001. The case study is included in the book,"Finnish ICT Cluster in the Digital Economy" (ETLA B 176), published by Etlatieto. The book is written by Laura Paija (Etlatieto), Perttu Ronkko (Eficor) and Dan Steinbock (Columbia Institute for Tele-Information, CITI). The research project is funded by the Finnish Ministry of Trade and Industry.

The study on growth and internationalization of Finnish technology companies was carried out by team members of Eficor Consulting, Perttu Ronkko, Mikko Puhakka and Mark Roth. In addition to case studies, the book discusses the development of the Finnish information and communications technology (ICT), cluster and venture capital markets, the role of venture capitalist as business developers, as well as the differences between European and American wireless digital economies.
