AlphaTrade Shares to be Trading on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange on September 21, 2001

VANCOUVER, B.C., Sept. 20, 2001 (PRIMEZONE) -- AlphaTrade.com (OTCBB:EBNK) is pleased to announce that the Company's application for a listing has been approved and trading will commence on September 21, 2001. The shares will begin trading on the third market segment of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange under the symbol TDR.

The Third Market Segment of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange lists such well-known companies as AT&T, Boeing, Inc. and Eastman Kodak, Inc. Trades can now be placed through Xetra(r), the exchange's fully computerized cash market trading system. This enables trading in equities, company-issued equity warrants and bonds on a single platform anywhere within the European Union and Switzerland, in local currency and during normal business hours.

"Given the global nature of the financial markets and the worldwide appeal of the products we market, we feel a listing on the dynamic Frankfurt exchange is an appropriate component of our outreach to investors and subscribers," said Gordon Muir AlphaTrade's Chief Executive Officer.

AlphaTrade's shares were listed on the Frankfurt Exchange in response to demand in the European investment community and to enable the Company to garner new subscribers for their E-Gate streaming stock quote service. This Company released its German Website earlier this week to complement its listing -- www.alphatrade-europe.de.

The German speaking market represents over 100,000,000 people, many of whom are active in the world financial markets. AlphaTrade's flagship product "E-Gate" is well suited for the European market since it is available in over 22 languages. All German subscribers and investors can use our service in German and go to a German Website to login.

The company is complementing this listing with an aggressive marketing campaign which will include television, radio, prominent business magazines, German business news and advertising through some of the most popular German speaking Websites in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Luxembourg and Liechtenstein.

"We anticipate that with the listing of AlphaTrade.com on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange it will be more convenient and cost-effective for our shareholders in Germany and other European countries to trade our shares," concluded Gordon Muir.
