Director Richard Morgan Resigns American Realty Board


DALLAS, Nov. 12, 2001 (PRIMEZONE) -- American Realty Investors, Inc. (NYSE:ARL) announced Monday that director Richard D. Morgan, a member since August 2000, recently resigned from the ARL board.

With the resignation, American Realty's board membership stands at three members, ARL President Karl L. Blaha, Collene Currie and Joseph Mizrachi. Currie and Mizrachi are independent directors.
