Dot Hill's SANnet Systems Displayed at Oracle OpenWorld

SAN FRANCISCO, Nov. 29, 2001 (PRIMEZONE) -- Dot Hill Systems Corp., (NYSE:HIL) a leading provider of carrier-class information storage and storage area network (SAN) solutions, is exhibiting its SANnet(r) storage systems at booth number 2534 at Oracle OpenWorld in Moscone Center, December 3-5, 2001. The Oracle OpenWorld Conference is expected to draw 20,000 Oracle users, developers, and corporate managers and executives from around the world while 300 Oracle Partners will demonstrate the products and ideas that will power business in the next century.

Jeremy Weeks, Unix systems administrator at semiconductor manufacturer Clare, Inc., said, "We're running our ERP software, including financials, on Oracle databases using the HP-UX and Solaris operating systems, and we run a lot of reports. "Dot Hill's highly reliable SANnet family of storage systems is very well suited to continuous computing environments running Oracle applications," said Dana Kammersgard, chief technology officer at Dot Hill. "We have customers in a variety of industries using Oracle application servers and databases in enterprise-wide scenarios. They rely on SANnet's superior performance and reliability to ensure continuous access to the valuable information stored in those databases. Plus, SANnet offers Oracle users the flexibility and scalability required to manage and grow their storage dynamically with virtually no downtime."

The SANnet Axis(tm) intelligent storage appliance is being exhibited in a live demonstration of storage virtualization and storage management features. SANnet Axis is a family of innovative, self-contained appliances that add affordable intelligence to existing storage and network infrastructures. The SANnet Tower deskside SAN and the ultra-slim SANnet RAID Blade(tm) are also being displayed in the booth.
