Increased International Ownership in Sectra

STOCKHOLM, Sweden, January 11, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- A large international institution has acquired 1,460,000 series B shares from Sectra's founders and main owner group. This corresponds to 4.5 % of the share capital and 2.6 % of the votes.

"I consider an international distribution of ownership of Sectra shares as being of value to our international business development. Having an additional major international institution in our ownership structure is particularly valuable," says Jan-Olof Bruer, President and Chief Executive Officer of Sectra AB.

This transaction causes four of the main owners, of which three are founders, to announce decreased holdings. Robert Forchheimer and Thomas Ericson decrease their holdings from 5.1% to 4.7 % of capital, Ingemar Ingemarsson from 5.1% to 4.3% of capital and Viiveke Fak from 5.0% to 4.6% of capital.

H&Q Technology handled the transaction.
