Elanders AB Press Release on the Annual Accounts for 2001 (with link)


KUNGSBACKA, Sweden, Jan. 31, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- Elanders AB:


 -- The Group returned to profit during the fourth quarter. Pre-tax
    profits for the quarter amounted to MSEK 28,8 (MSEK 58,5).

 -- Cash flow during the fourth quarter amounted to MSEK 99, an
    improvement over the fourth quarter of the previous year by MSEK
    148 (MSEK -49).

 -- Net turnover totaled MSEK 2494 (MSEK 2539).

 -- Pre-tax profits amounted to MSEK 0,3 (MSEK 142,2).

 -- A decrease in order intake from the telecom sector and a decline
    in demand for our products and services due to the downward
    business cycle are the primary factors behind lower profits in
    2001.

 -- The new organization with two business areas has contributed to
    a more efficient use of the Group's resources.

 -- The board of directors proposes to the Annual General Meeting a
    dividend of SEK 1 per share (SEK 4,50).

  -- Products with a large number of pages that are printed offset
     and digitally, in varying editions.

  -- Exports to some 20 European countries.
 
  -- Customized solutions for advertisements and magazines in colour.

  -- Production and sales in Kungsbacka (Sweden), Oslo (Norway),
     Harrogate (U.K.) and Plonsk (Poland).
