TORRANCE, Calif., Feb. 1, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- (WITH PHOTO) Virco Mfg. Corporation (AMEX:VIR):

Now, there's an attractive, affordable, ergonomically supportive task chair that's appropriately sized for kids. Conceived by internationally renowned designer Richard Holbrook, Virco's new I.Q.(r) model 2660GC-15 complements a wide range of primary and intermediate school settings, including computer classrooms, technology labs and related areas that call for adjustable, mobile task seating.

Like all I.Q. Series products, the 2660GC-15 features Holbrook's stylish, ergonomically contoured chair shell. Its spacious concave seat, flexible backrest and smooth waterfall front combine to deliver long-lasting comfort and support.

When it comes to adjustability, the chair's seat height has a range of 14-1/4" to 17" to better accommodate the needs of younger, smaller students. A five-point base with dual-wheel, hooded swivel caster enables easy mobility.

The new model 2660GC-15 complements Virco's extensive I.Q. offerings, which include seven 4-legged and sled base models in three popular seat heights. The I.Q. line also offers a full-sized adjustable mobile chair, a sled base combo unit, and a pair of tablet arm models with a convenient articulating work surface. All I.Q. models are available in 14 attractive shell colors.
