K. too at the Kimmel Center: Bringing New Heights to Thursday Nights


PHILADELPHIA, April 2, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- The Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts has orchestrated the perfect way to celebrate the end of the workday. K. too, the outdoor balcony adjacent to the Kimmel Center's K. Lounge, is the newest spot to meet and greet after work. Overlooking Broad Street, it is Center City's most exciting, new happy hour spot. Happy hour festivities will take place on Thursday evenings from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., beginning Thursday, April 4.

Restaurant Associates, the company that operates K. too as well as the restaurants and bars at the Kimmel Center, has a special beverage offer of two cocktails for a quarter for the first two weeks K. too is open. To take part in quarter cocktails, guests must access the Restaurant Associates Website, www.restaurantassociates.com, fill out the information, and Restaurant Associates will email a confirmation coupon that can be redeemed for two quarter cocktails. Subscribers can also refer friends if they feel like sharing: just enter up to five friends and they will be able to enjoy quarter cocktails, too, at K. too.

Premiering at K. too on April 4, The Kim Royale, the signature drink served only at the balcony happy hours. With a panoramic view of Avenue of the Arts, K. too at the Kimmel Center, is only open on Thursdays from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. K. too is accessible from the third tier of the Kimmel Center.

Restaurant Associates also operates the K. Lounge, open Tuesday through Saturday from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. as well as Cadence, open for dinner Tuesday through Saturday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday brunch is served at Cadence from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
