Sigma Signs New Framework Agreement with Ericsson


STOCKHOLM, Sweden, April 16, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- Sigma is signing a framework agreement with Ericsson for services involving research and development, IS/IT and technical documentation.

"This is an extremely important agreement for Sigma. Ericsson is one of Sigma's foremost customers. We envisage continuing to proactively supply functional undertakings and consultancy services with the purpose of further improving the efficiency of Ericsson's services," explained Michael Krantz, Senior Vice President, Sales at Sigma.

The agreement is effective from April 1 and applies for one year. It involves technical documentation, high-tech research and development, product development of mechanical components and systems, as well as IS/IT, including business systems, systems management and systems development. At least 40 percent of the services delivered are to be functional undertakings, whereby Sigma undertakes to fully or partially provide certain functions at Ericsson.
