Nexus Launches New Secure Web Mail Generation Within the Secured Messaging Concept

LINKOPING, Sweden, May 03, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- Since Nexus acquired Netsys during the autumn of 2000, development within the Secured Messaging concept has intensified, with a focus on being able to offer the market secure infrastructure solutions. As the next step in this endeavour, Nexus now launches a secured web client within Secured Messaging. The client has integrated security aspects and utilises the latest techniques within PKI and other closely related fields.

Nexus is proud to present a new secure web mail generation. With this launch, the Secured Messaging concept takes yet another steps forward. The principle keywords for this new web solution are open standards, platform-independence, high security, mobility, increased accessibility, high performance, and excellent scalability.

This new web mail generation offers customers great flexibility, with the opportunity of secure communications via most fixed and mobile clients currently in demand.

"We see a strong desire from our customers to further develop the use of a secure and stable platform for their corporate communications. With consideration for the new demands on security and accessibility, as a platform Secured Messaging makes for a very interesting concept. Moreover, this new addition to our product family increases the flexibility of the concept and its use. With the adaptation to open standards and the possibility to integrate this product with corporate portals, it enables our customers to further utilise the strengths and stability of existing systems," said Peter Johansson, Nexus Secured Messaging.
