Leading Australian Defense Subcontractor Signs 5-year Agreement for Telelogic DOORS Requirements Management Solution

MALMO, Sweden, July 4, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- Telelogic (Stockholm Exchange:TLOG), the leading provider of solutions for advanced systems and software development, today announced that a leading Australian defense subcontractor has signed an agreement worth US$560.000 for licenses of Telelogic DOORS. The agreement is for a 5-year period and allows the customer to standardize on Telelogic's market leading solution for requirements management. Under the agreement the customer also has the opportunity to adopt Telelogic's other application development tools to benefit from the efficiencies offered by an integrated development environment.

"An increasing number of companies recognize requirements management as a critical factor in project success and Telelogic DOORS, as the market leading solution, is well positioned to profit from this trend," said Anders Lidbeck, President and CEO for Telelogic. "Following last weeks multi-million agreement with the Australian Department of Defense, it is clear that our strategy to build long-term relationships with national government defense bodies and their leading prime contractors pays off as their tool preferences are pushed downwards to the subcontractors."

Through this strategic agreement with Telelogic, the customer will now be able to implement a standard environment for managing complex project requirements which will result in improved process efficiency, greater traceability, knowledge and skills reuse, and greater compliance to customers requirements.
