AdZone Research Sees Major, Continuing Role in Homeland Security Efforts Due to Its Pioneering Internet Surveillance Technology

RIVERHEAD, N.Y., July 30, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- AdZone Research Inc. (OTCBB:ADZR), a pioneering Internet surveillance technology solutions provider, today reaffirmed that it anticipates playing a major, continuing role in the nation's evolving Homeland Security efforts.

"We have a technology that is unique to the marketplace," said Adzone's President & CEO, Charles A. Cardona III. "AdZone Research is prepared to play an important and growing role in Internet surveillance initiatives to protect our national security going forward, and to become a key solutions provider in a number of mission critical areas."

Cardona cited the company's July 10, 2002 announcement of a Systems Integrator Agreement with major defense contractor Raytheon (NYSE:RTN) as a significant example of the company's growing nationwide visibility.

"We believe that our relationship with major defense contractors such as Raytheon will help accelerate the integration of our pioneering system into Homeland Security solutions," said the AdZone CEO. "As we continue to develop new relationships and negotiate additional contracts, the company's future looks promising."

In addition to its marketing efforts with defense contractors, AdZone also is moving forward aggressively with the introduction of its Internet surveillance technology to key decision makers at the state and federal levels focused on security and national defense.

"The company is currently in negotiations with a number of state and federal government agencies in order to provide its Internet tracking and monitoring services," Cardona reported.

In its recently released form 10KSB for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2002, the company said a slowdown in Internet advertising, and lower demand for analysis of that medium, had prompted AdZone to expand its role as a global Internet research firm.

It now specializes in automated retrieval, classification, analysis and delivery of worldwide Internet data for global defense as well as media metrics. Through monitoring of more than one million Websites worldwide, AdZone provides tracking and monitoring of targeted information on the Internet, with an expanded focus on global Internet analysis of security-related data transmissions.
