NCC to Construct Schools in Denmark for Approximately SEK 233 Million


SOLNA, Sweden, Aug. 9, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- NCC Construction Denmark has secured a contract from OElstykke Municipality, 20 kilometers west of Copenhagen, to construct a new school and remodel four existing schools, with a total value of approximately SEK 233 million (DKK 198 million).

The construction of the new school, Baekkegardsskolen, will commence as soon as possible and is scheduled for completion in August 2003. The remodeling and expansion of the four existing schools will begin at the end of the year and is expected to be completed at the beginning of 2004.

This work is a partnering project between NCC, OElstykke Municipality, the development advisory company Haraldshus, the Mangor og Nagel architect firm and the Carl Bro engineering company.
