Whale Appoints Howard Moser as VP of North American Sales, Frank Fabozzi as VP of Technical Services and David Schwartz as General Counsel and VP of Corporate Development


FORT LEE, N.J., Aug. 13, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- Whale Communications today announced the appointments of Howard Moser as Vice President of North American Sales, Frank Fabozzi as Vice President of Technical Services and David Schwartz as General Counsel and Vice President of Corporate Development.

Howard Moser was previously Director, Eastern and Central Region Sales at ValiCert, Inc., where his 20 years of expertise in sales in the technology sector helped to contribute to a successful IPO. While at ValiCert, Moser was recognized for building a team that led the company in sales in 2000 and 2001. Prior to that, Mr. Moser held various management positions at VPNet Technologies, First Virtual Corporation and 3Com Corporation. He holds an MA from Johns Hopkins University.

Frank Fabozzi has a proven track record in building infrastructure within companies to provide world-class customer care. Most recently, Fabozzi was VP of Systems Engineering at Global Crossing where he was responsible for overall development, implementation and design of their worldwide network. Prior to that, he headed Bay Networks' Professional Services department in the Northeast U.S., overseeing a staff of more than 50 high-level consultants and engineers. Fabozzi received an MBA Magna Cum Laude and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Ravenhurst University.

David Schwartz previously served as Whale's General Counsel and Director of Business Planning. Prior to that he was an associate at the New York law firm of Simpson Thacher & Bartlett, where he represented public and private companies in equity and debt financings and mergers and acquisitions. He received a JD from the Yale Law School where he was senior editor of the Yale Law Journal.
