MALMO, Sweden, Sept. 16, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- Telelogic (Stockholm:TLOG), the leading global provider of solutions for advanced systems and software development, today received a professional services contract worth Euro 541,000 from a major German automotive manufacturer. This new agreement is a follow-on contract to the Euro 1.46 million contract Telelogic received from the same customer in October last year. Under the agreement, Telelogic will deliver professional services over a 4-month period.
In the project, Telelogic will work with the customer to develop an advanced information and entertainment system for the driver and the passengers in the car. The system will be based on MOST (Media Oriented System Transport), a global standard used throughout the automotive sector for data communication of multimedia and telematics applications. In this second phase of the project Telelogic will deliver professional services based on Telelogic development tools, to enhance the simulation and testing facilities of the customer's project environment.
