Virage Rolls Out Foreign Language Support for Newest Products

Company Serves Customers Overseas With Chinese, German and Japanese Versions

(Nasdaq:VRGE) today announced that its latest platform products, including the SmartEncode(tm) VideoLogger(r) 5.0 and the Virage Solution Server(tm) (VSS) 4.0, are available in simplified Chinese, German, and Japanese languages. With more than 350 customers worldwide, Virage is a leading provider of video and rich media communication software.

For the first time, customers can install the award-winning VideoLogger 5.0 and the VSS 4.0 with a user-interface fully localized in simplified Chinese, Japanese and German. In addition to these languages, customers can also take advantage of Virage speech recognition plug-ins that support Brazilian Portuguese, Italian, Spanish, and UK English.
