WICHITA, Kan., Sept. 23, 2002 -- (PRIMEZONE) Lone Star Steakhouse & Saloon, Inc. (Nasdaq:STAR) announced today that T.D. O'Connell has been promoted to the new position of Concept President of Lone Star Steakhouse & Saloon. In his new position Mr. O'Connell will have responsibility for all aspects of daily operations for the Lone Star restaurants.
In addition to Mr. O'Connell's appointment, Jeff Bracken has been elevated to the position of Chief Operating Officer of the Lone Star Steakhouse & Saloon Concept. Mr. Bracken had previously served as Vice President of Operations for the Lone Star restaurants.
