STOCKHOLM, Sweden, Oct. 4, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- Sigma SystemPartner has entered into an agreement for the sale to Proserva of Sigma SystemPartner's operations in the area of PC-related consulting services in Sweden's Smaland and Blekinge counties. The partnership will give the two companies a strong joint position in the region.

"We are very pleased to have the chance to establish another office in the region," commented Anders Sagadin, President of Proserva. "The expertise of our new employees will complement our operations extremely well, and the customers shared by Sigma and Proserva will also benefit from the cooperation."

"The cooperation with Proserva and the continued focus on our respective areas of expertise will place us among the leading players in Smaland and Blekinge. Using our own personnel in Vaxjo, we will continue to advance our position in the region in the area of backup services."
