Exus Appoints Advisors in United Arab Emirates and Holds Discussions with Thuraya Satellite Telecommunications Co.


NEW YORK, Oct. 11, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- Exus Networks, Inc. (OTCBB:EXUS) today announced the appointment of Mr. Nassar Al-Maisary and Retired Major General Hazza Sultan Al Darmaki as advisors to Exus. Mr. Al-Maisary is a well-established businessman with excellent contacts in the Middle Eastern and African Markets. During the last 25 years, Mr. Al-Maisary has assisted companies develop businesses and joint ventures, lobbied governments on his clients behalf and raised investment capital for many companies around the world. Retired Major General Hazza Sultan Al Darmaki is now Chairman and CEO, of High Standard Group headquartered in Abu Dhabi, UAE. High Standard Group will represent Exus' interests and assist in marketing Exus Educational products in the UAE.

In a meeting this week in Dubai, Mr. Daniel Imperato, a consultant and shareholder of Exus, Mr. Al-Maisary and Mr. Al Darmaki meet with Thuraya Satellite Telecommunications Company Chairman Mr. Mohammed Omran and have agreed in principal to proceed forward with the intention to complete a formal licensing agreement between Exus and Thuraya for distribution of Thuraya products in the USA and Canada.
