Exus Educational Network Signs Agreement With Mount Sinai School of Medicine

NEW YORK, Oct. 31, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- Exus Educational Network (EEN) a division of Exus Networks, Inc. (OTCBB:EXUS), a global provider of end-to-end Educational Courses, today announced that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with The Mount Sinai School of Medicine Television Network in New York, the interactive distance learning program for continuing medical education (CME) of Mount Sinai School of Medicine (MSSM), one of the world's foremost centers of medical research, training and care.

Under the terms of the agreement, MSSM will provide EEN with proprietary medical education content and resources for delivery over EEN's network to overseas doctors participating in CME programs. In 2001, EEN announced that it reached an agreement with the Health Ministry of Poland to bring CME resources to 20,000 doctors participating in CME programs in Poland. EEN is also working on concluding similar agreements with Health Ministries of other countries around the globe. This MOU will allow EEN to vastly expand the CME resources it offers over its global network.

Aside from MSSM's global recognition as a leading center of medical research and education, EEN cited MSSM's wealth of high-quality content and experience as the most technologically advanced multimedia production service in medical education as its reasons for partnering with MSSM. The agreement will allow EEN to make available MSSM's live and archived streaming broadband and narrowband video content, interactive on-line quizzes and surveys, topic-specific discussion forums, private and public e-mailing, accredited academic certification programs, and storehouse of CME content covering a wide array of medical fields and topics.

Ike Sutton, Chairman and CEO of Exus, stated: "This is an exciting moment for us as we take a big step towards our goal of becoming the world's leading provider of continuing medical education resources. We are proud to partner with Mount Sinai, one of the most recognizable names in the world of medicine, and we look forward to incorporating in our program other partners who have sponsored CME globally, such as Merck (NYSE:MRK) and GlaxoSmithKline (NYSE:GSK)."

Frederick S. Bobrow, Director of Educational Technology for the Continuing Medical Education Program of The Mount Sinai School of Medicine, added: "We have developed very sophisticated CME materials which we are more than happy to see EEN delivering content in Poland. We look forward to working with EEN as they launch similar initiatives in the other emerging markets countries on their network and globally to allow us to educate as many medical professionals as possible."
