This means that in dental care, for instance, X-rayograms and photographs can now function seamlessly with the patient's treatment information within a single patient data system.
In practice, this solution will enable more efficient care processes and reduce the staff's routine tasks, as the graphs and photos will always be in the right place at the right time. The graphs enable more precise documentation of a patient's dental health and monitoring of the treatment's effects. It will also facilitate the motivation of patients for planned treatment in that they are able to see, for instance, the location of an old filling and any fixing needs from a clear graph.
Effica's graphical dental map clearly indicates all of the existing dental graphs. The attending person can easily select the related graph to be viewed on the display next to the patient's chart and zoom as required, which makes it easy to compile, for example, treatment and X- ray records. The first customer to utilize the solution is the Haukiputaa Health Center, where all general healthcare services' graphs are also saved in digital format.
