E-Rex Announces Cox Target Media to Field Test Dragonfly Document-Centric Valpak Sales Professionals to Review Award-Winning Device

MIAMI, Nov. 11, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- E-Rex, Inc. (OTCBB:EREX) announced today that Cox Target Media, provider of Valpak network products, will field test the award-winning Dragonfly prototype. Cox Target Media provides direct mail advertising services with more than 1,400 nationwide field personnel, and represents an excellent example of sales and service organizations seeking out new technologies to enable their mobile workers to stay connected and to better and more efficiently serve their customers.

Dragonfly will be tested by a field sales agent responsible for contacting new potential Valpak and Valpak.com advertisers as well as managing and supporting existing client accounts. For more than 30 years, Valpak, Cox's primary product offering, has helped connect advertisers to their audiences in person, online and in the mail.

"As a Mobile Sales Executive, I realize daily that the business world is really not paperless," stated Chance McGrath, Account Executive for Cox Target Media. "I often must return to our central offices simply to send or receive faxes or to print proposals and contracts, Dragonfly could finally provide the complete mobile office that I've been searching for."

Today the wireless Internet, when deployed on handheld or notebook computers, is enabling sales and service representatives to build stronger customer relationships by responding faster, expanding the resources that can be brought into selling discussions, and communicating more effectively and frequently with their audience. Dragonfly extends those capabilities by providing one device with the ability to wirelessly retrieve and send data, to download and print full color proposals and contracts, and to scan, store and share critical customer information, all without wires and all in real-time.

According to market researcher e-Trends, approximately 165 million people worldwide are now mobile or remote workers, and E-Rex believes that a large portion of this group still work in a document-centric business environment. "With a form factor similar to a standard laptop, we believe that Dragonfly can one day provide field sales and service representatives worldwide with a greater opportunity to close deals at the point of customer contact by finally providing the built-in document management capabilities presently not available anywhere else," stated Mike Balduzzi, Executive Director of Business Development for E-Rex.

"Sales people are constantly spending time in the field, traveling to client sites and on the road to meetings," stated Carl Dilley, E-Rex President and CEO. "We feel that Dragonfly can help ensure that all communications travel with complete fluidity from company to agent to customer and back again whether online or on paper."
