Music Choice Announces New Audio Program, `Tha Corner,' the First Uncut Rap Show on Television

HORSHAM, Pa., Nov. 14, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- Music Choice, the largest provider of commercial-free digital music via cable and satellite TV, announces "Tha Corner," a new monthly audio program that represents the first uncut rap show on television. "Tha Corner" will air on the first Tuesday of every month at 8:00 p.m. (ET), and will be rebroadcast throughout the month on the Music Choice Rap channel, available in 25 million digital cable and DIRECTV homes.

"Tha Corner" is the first monthly uncut rap show on television, giving listeners the opportunity to hear artists and celebrities express themselves without fear of censorship. The program will disclose the real stories behind the featured artists' music through unedited interviews with no restrictions. "Tha Corner" will also include the latest rap music, news and industry buzz. The audience will be able to interact with the show online at musicchoice.com.

The first edition of "Tha Corner" features Platinum recording artist Snoop Dogg and the Doggystyle All-stars, Nappy Roots, and Killer Mike. "Tha Corner" is hosted by Music Choice's DJ Mecca, and is produced by Director of Programming for Music Choice, Damon Williams. The monthly shows will re-air several times each month to reach a greater number of Music Choice viewers.
