DORO Sells Its Swiss Business

LUND, Sweden, Dec. 12, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- DORO AB (publ) (Stockholm:DOROa) of Lund, listed on Stockholmborsen's O-list, has signed an agreement with the Wycom group of Wettingen, Switzerland, to transfer its telephony business in Switzerland on 31 December 2002. Wycom sells a range of consumer electronics including telephones. The telephone business with DORO Audioline will be handled by Beletec AG, which is a fully-owned subsidiary to Wycom AG.

Wycom has purchased the customer registers, stock and the right to use the brand names Audioline and DORO (for Switzerland). Wycom has also agreed to take over warranty obligations for the customers. DORO and Wycom have signed a service agreement giving Wycom access to DORO's products for the Swiss market.

The sale of the Swiss business is in line with DORO's strategy, from the autumn of 2001, to concentrate on selected markets and products. The agreements will not have any impact on DORO's result for 2002.

"DORO is continuing the focus process that started with the sales of the PBX business this spring. We are pleased to have found a serious partner in Switzerland," said Gunnar Akerblom, DORO's CEO.

"We are very exited to extend our existing telephony business with DORO's products and customer relations," said Martin Stappung, Managing Director of Wycom Switzerland.

DORO will issue itsQ4 report on 30 January 2003.
