STOCKHOLM, Sweden, Feb. 6, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- Datavis, Sign On (Other OTC:SGONF) (Stockholm:SION) and Microsoft are supplying the Swedish National Audit Office (RRV) with a new IT-based audit platform, known as the Tool.
The work involves advanced document management for the annual audit within the National Audit Office.
The Tool means that auditors have the right information to hand out in the field at the same time as being part of an overall system. Features of the Tool include document management, advanced templates and electronic forms, synchronisation of documents with metadata and publication on Intranet portal.
The Tool is a .Net solution which uses the Microsoft .Net Framework, Microsoft Sharepoint Portal Server and Microsoft SQL Server 2000. These products form some of the cornerstones of the system.
Work started in the late autumn of 2002 and the first stage was put into operation on schedule with a number of pilots on 3 February 2003.
Collaboration among the companies has helped to create a well-integrated solution with Sign On's expertise in advanced template management and electronic forms, Microsoft's comprehensive view of architecture and Datavis's project-management and development expertise all playing a vital part.
