KUNGSBACKA, Sweden, Feb. 19, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- The Swedish Parliament and Elanders' subsidiary Gotab in Stockholm has renewed the contract concerning the production of the so-called Parliament Print, which includes bills, propositions, reports and protocol. The value of the order is approximately MSEK 45 over a two year period.
"Printing for the public sector is part of Elanders' core business and this order is important since it clearly demonstrates how well our basic operations perform. The Parliament Print is in itself a prestigious commission and we are very pleased to once again be entrusted with it," says Patrick Holm, President of Elanders AB."
The signed delivery agreement, which runs for two years with an option for a further year, is connected to the Authority for Higher Education's general agreement for printing services. The new contract starts on 2003- 06-03 when the old one ends.
"Production of this type of printed matter requires extremely highs standards in precision, service and delivery times. In the twenty years we have worked together Elanders has definitely met these demand and therefore it was natural to extend our cooperation for another two-year period" states Lars Holm, the Swedish Parliament.
The contract covers printing productions of propositions, written communication and memorandums form the government, bills, proposals, reports, protocol, committee reports as well as pronouncements to other committees, the EU committee's pronouncements and protocol, written communication from the parliament and registers.
