Griebenow Discusses Innovative, Patented Technology, and Practicality of Digital Video For Security Purposes in www.wallst.net Interview

NEW YORK, June 24, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- Specializing in developing technology utilizing streaming digital video for security purposes, AXCESS Inc. (OTCBB:AXSI) has recently secured two lucrative deals to install their patented technology, Griebenow told www.wallst.net.

The first is with Southwest Trading, a retail operation in North Carolina, and the second with a Monmouth, NJ-based government agency. AXCESS Inc.'s technology is an end-to-end digital video security system, ideal for multiple building facilities, homes, and other facilities, Griebenow added. "What we're seeing is a continuing movement of the security industry for the use of the IT backbone (of corporations)," he said. The company has managed to link their security systems to the IT backbone of corporations utilizing their patented digital recording cameras (LANcams), transmission systems (LANcorders), and display/playback capabilities. Griebenow referred to IBM's announcement in March 2003, stating they would consult and assist with installing security video on the corporate backbone of companies. "We use that as another data point of the migration of security video onto the IT backbone," Griebenow told www.wallst.net. "We think this validates the fact that we have a system that we can put in place and help solve some of the security challenges of post 9/11."

Although Griebenow conceded that the company does have some competition, he stated that since AXCESS utilizes an end-to-end solution for digital video security systems, they have at least "a six to nine month lead on the competition."

AXCESS also specializes in developing systems specializing in the storage of digital security video, Griebenow said. Similar to TiVo, AXCESS's systems have the "ability to press the video stream significantly beyond what users would typically see on a website," making the video AXCESS's systems capture "30-times more efficient" than web-video. "We can store the video and do it very economically," he said referring to the increased efficiency and decreased cost of digital video storage.

"Post 9/11, it's obvious that human eyes alone can't address the problems of the 21st century," Griebenow said. "We're seeing a major trend in people moving from the analog world to the digital and we've positioned ourselves right in the middle of that."
