Report from the Extraordinary General Meeting of Anoto Group AB


LUND, Sweden, July 17, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- At today's Extraordinary General Meeting of Anoto Group (Other OTC:AOTOF) it was resolved to approve the Board's decision to implement a new share issue of an additional 3.3 million shares. The Board was authorized to decide on a new share issue of a maximum of 1.7 million shares to enable a directed new share issue to industrial partners within the scope of collaboration and alliances.

"Logitech is one of our most important partners and with their acquisition of 10,2 % shares in Anoto Group the strategic relationship is reinforced and opportunities for closer and even more distinct future collaboration for the business and technology development of their Logitech(R) io(TM) Digital Pen and for the development of the digital pen and paper platform are created," said Orjan Johansson, CEO, Anoto Group AB.

David Henry, who is Senior Vice president in Logitech, was elected as new member of the board of directors in Anoto Group. The director Nils Ljung had previously announced that he wished to resign from the board. The EGM resolved that remuneration for the Board will remain unchanged at SEK 1.200.000.
