 WHAT:  The CDMA Development Group's (CDG) (www.cdg.org) 2003 CDMA
        Latin America Regional Conference kicks off this week in Rio
        de Janeiro. Leading telecom companies, including Brasil
        Telecom, Ericsson, KTF, Lucent Technologies, Nortel Networks,
        Qualcomm, SK Telecom, Sprint, Verizon Wireless, Vivo, ZTE and
        others, will share their knowledge and experiences with
        CDMA2000(r) technology. Speakers will present insight into the
        future of the Latin American wireless industry, and will
        discuss topics such as integrating emerging technologies,
        developing consumer and enterprise applications, capitalizing
        on roaming opportunities, tracking handset trends and
        deploying high-speed data services.
