QLogic Announces SANblade Host Bus Adapters with HP 9000 Servers for HP-UX 11I

SANblade HBAs Link HP 9000 Superdome, Midrange and Entry-Level Servers to HP StorageWorks Systems and Storage Area Networks

ALISO VIEJO, Calif., Aug. 13, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- QLogic Corp. (Nasdaq:QLGC), the company that powers storage area networks (SANs), today announced its SANblade 2342 Series PCI-X host bus adapters (HBAs) will be available with HP 9000 servers running HP-UX 11i version 1, including HP 9000 Superdome, HP 9000 midrange and HP 9000 entry-level servers. In addition, the QLogic SANblade QLA2342 has also been qualified with the HP StorageWorks Enterprise Virtual Array, Virtual Array, Disk Array XP families, and HP StorageWorks tape libraries.
