When Tara Abrams, daughter of travel expert Stephanie Abrams, planned her January, 2003 wedding, Castle Leslie was chosen for its authentic ambiance and extraordinary cuisine for the three-day New Year event. "When you meet a treasure like Noel McMeel," Stephanie Abrams explains, "you have to introduce his talents to the world! It only made sense to introduce Noel to Ceiba Del Mar Hotel and Spa Resort on Mexico's Mayan Riviera to share his culinary genius with my favorite resort!"

The creative management team at Ceiba Del Mar was inspired by the opportunity to include Chef McMeel in their unique offerings. According to Kate Gerogianis, Sales Director for the property, "We went to work quickly to create a "Visiting Chef "program which will debut with Chef Noel's visit, November 10th to 24th, 2003. When he arrives here, he will be welcomed by warm weather and warm smiles from guests and staff! We're already ordering the special kitchen items he has requested for his demonstrations and special food preparations!"

McMeel will be arriving with another executive chef to assist him who has a specialty in organic cooking. "While we have these two wonderful chefs on property, we will create a new spa menu complete with a section reflecting the organic cooking items. What makes our menus unique, however, is that we offer something for everyone so guests looking for seafood linguini or garlic mashed potatoes will not be disappointed!" Gerogianis explains. "We are delighted that the chefs will participate in food preparation demonstrations for and with our guests and they will prepare special items which will appear on our menu as their signature items long after their visit. Asked about her role in making the 'marriage' between Ceiba Del Mar and Chef Mc Meel, Abrams, the host of the nationally syndicated show, "Travel With Stephanie Abrams!" on Business Talk Radio, states, "I meet so many people in my travels that need to meet other people I know!
