STOCKHOLM, Sweden, Nov. 11, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- The German power giant E.ON Energie AG has invested in ReadSoft's solution for electronic invoices processing, INVOICES. The software is integrated with E.ON Energie's SAP R/3 business system, with the goal of automating the processing of 350,000 supplier invoices every year.
E.ON Energie is part of the E.ON AG group, the world's largest investor- owned energy service provider with 108,000 employees. E.ON Energie includes 80 companies and supplies approximately 21 million European customers with electricity and gas.
With approximately 350,000 incoming supplier invoices annually, the potential for savings is tremendous. Prior to the installation all invoices were read, processed and booked manually. With ReadSoft's technology and its certified integration to the SAP R/3 workflow, the process is significantly accelerated. Additional benefits, such as instant matching against order and delivery data, will be made possible by integration with the SAP R/3 business system.

What is INVOICES?
The software INVOICES is designed to recognize unstructured invoice documents and capture data such as sender, invoice number and invoice amount from anywhere on the invoice. At the same time, the software checks the data against information in the customer's business system.
