EMS Technologies Announces Distribution Agreement With TeleServe

AMSTERDAM, The Netherlands, Nov. 18, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- EMS SATCOM, a division of EMS Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq:ELMG), announced today the signing of an agreement with TeleServe. The deal adds TeleServe to the growing list of EMS Fleet 55 distributors.

Situated in the Faroe Islands, in the heart of the region it serves, TeleServe has been the number one choice for satellite services onboard a fast-growing share of vessels in Denmark, Greenland, Canada, Norway and the Faroe Islands. TeleServe prides itself on being the fastest growing satellite service provider in the North Atlantic Region. Teleserve will additionally be serving the Spanish market through E.N.I.S.A. (Equipos Navales Industriales, S.A.)

Founded in 1994 and now in its tenth year of business, TeleServe is following an aggressive growth strategy based on providing excellent customer service. Commenting on the deal, Billy Hansen, CEO of TeleServe said, "We are pleased that EMS has chosen to work together with TeleServe in the Scandinavian and European markets. This is a great opportunity for TeleServe to extend its business opportunities, and we look forward to prosperous collaboration between the two companies."

Stewart Allington, EMS's Channel Manager for Europe, the Middle East and Australasia said, "Having a footprint in the North Atlantic is critical to EMS's strategy for servicing the region's large fishing and off-shore communities. With a substantial share of all Fleet 55 terminals activated to date, EMS SATCOM is showing the established market players that it is a force to be reckoned with -- despite being a newcomer to the maritime market. With this new alliance we are on the competition's doorstep and we look forward to a mutually profitable relationship with TeleServe."
