Allied Home Mortgage Capital Corporation Holds Compliance Conference for NJ Licensed Branches to Discuss Home Ownership Security Act of 2002

LINDON, N.J., Nov. 20, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- Allied Home Mortgage Capital Corporation (AHMCC) held a compliance conference today for all of its New Jersey-licensed branch offices to discuss the impact of the New Jersey Home Ownership Act of 2002 which becomes effective November 27.

The purpose of the conference was to educate Allied employees about the Act and insure compliance. The event was mandatory for all Allied branch managers and employees licensed in the state and was attended by senior management and executive officers from AHMCC's corporate office in Houston, Texas. Attorneys from one of New Jersey's largest law firms, Lowenstein Sandler PC, presented material about the Act and how to pro-actively comply.

"Allied has always been a progressive and pro-active company," AHMCC President Jim Hodge said. "While some would shy away from the great business opportunities within the state of New Jersey, our conference today exemplifies how we welcome the challenge to provide better protection and lending services to its citizens."
