Mackie, one of the most gifted and versatile designers in America, has received nine Emmy Awards from more than 30 nominations, and three Oscar nominations. His name is synonymous with television and theatrical costume design and his work on CBS's "The Sonny and Cher Comedy Hour" and the "Carol Burnett Show" propelled him to national notoriety.
In addition to costume and fashion design, Mackie has a loyal customer base for his "Wearable Art" program on the QVC cable television network. The open house is scheduled for Saturday, December 13 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the south Northern Lights location (Eastern and I-215) and from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the west location (Tropicana and I-215).
