JetBlue Announces New Vice President, Information Technology


NEW YORK, Jan. 13, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- JetBlue Airways (Nasdaq:JBLU) today named Todd Thompson, Vice President, Information Technology. He joins JetBlue with more than 21 years of experience in the field of Information Technology.

"Todd started programming at age 12, and by age 18 was already working on Unix client server development," said Tim Claydon, Senior Vice President of sales and business development for JetBlue. "He's the perfect candidate to deliver the right information technology to JetBlue crewmembers and customers."

Mr. Thompson joins JetBlue from SBI.Razorfish, where he served as the director of the company's western consulting practice. Prior to SBI.Razorfish, Todd led the Utah business consulting practice at Arthur Andersen Business Consulting. He earned his undergraduate degree in Computer Science as well as his MBA from Brigham Young University.

Mr. Thompson will be relocating to the New York area from Salt Lake City to work at JetBlue's Forest Hills headquarters location.
