New Motivational Book Uses Fiction, Time Travel, and Beautiful Illustrations

SOMERSET, N.J., Jan. 22, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Take a moving journey of inspiration and insights in a new inspirational book that melds the genre's tradition with fiction and humor. Taking readers back to the eighteenth century and to an initiation ceremony called the Circle of Light, author Joan Fericy's new book Elayne sketches the life of a young woman as she hurdles her insecurities and deals with the realities of life.

Elayne, daughter of Avalon, lives in eighteenth-century England. After many years of preparation, she is finally going through a special rite dubbed the Circle of Light. Accompanied by a group of women who represent the simple truths of life, Elayne must learn to overcome her insecurities. Years before, she had traveled back to the time of her great-great-grandmother, a journey that fired her inner courage to change her life.

Joan Fericy's works have been described as invigorating as a deep breath of fresh, mountain air, peaceful, healing and motivating with insights that help readers touch base with a Higher Being. Elayne brings a message of spirituality, compassion, and hope.
