Communication Synergy Technologies Inc. Document Preservation Marketing Strategies to be led by Former Kodak Executive

ROCHESTER, N.Y., Feb. 20, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Communication Synergy Technologies Inc. (ComSynTech) (Pink Sheets:CSYT), a developer of document management solutions for business and medical applications, today announced the appointment of Rob Robbins, former Marketing Manager for Eastman Kodak's (NYSE:EK) Commercial Imaging Group to head up marketing business development initiatives for its CDV1000 Document Vault Preservation and Archiving System.

During his 17 years with Eastman Kodak in Rochester, New York, Robbins held positions in the Commercial & Government Systems Document Imaging and Worldwide Information Systems business units of Kodak. His responsibilities included leadership positions in market assessment and research, product and project management, channel marketing, customer relations, worldwide support, and business development.

According to Seth Borg, CEO of ComSynTech, "Rob's broad understanding of the document management marketplace and the software requirements that drive its continuing growth, provides us with insights into the various types of document workflow configurations that are in place and needed in the marketplace."

From Rob's perspective, "The CDV1000 is our initial foray into the storage, archiving and preservation business. Given the explosive growth of documents in business today there will always be a need to store and retrieve a certain percentage of them. ComSynTech's Document Vault does this elegantly and simply, completely eliminating dependency on originating software and hardware. With the Document Vault, all the features are in place to make it a universal solution to the problem of obsolescence of originating software and hardware."

Mike Perrotta, ComSynTech COO sees the addition of Robbins as "a logical and important step to better serving the document management needs of a global market. He has the business acumen and sensitivities to chart a course to build market confidence quickly and build the perception of Document Vault and subsequent products as valued market leaders."
