Teleca expands Symbian collaboration as Independent Design House


MALMO, Sweden, March 02, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Teleca announced today that it has expanded its collaboration with Symbian. Teleca will become one of the first Symbian Independent Design Houses (IDH) and will extend its offerings to include complete smart phone designs.

Teleca, which is already one of the world's leading independent integrators of the Symbian platform, develops reference platforms for both 2G and 3G mobile phones together with several Symbian licensees worldwide. Through this new agreement Teleca expects to expand its smart phone business further.
