MSV to Participate in Mobile-Satcom Panel at Satellite 2004


WASHINGTON, D.C., March 3, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Carson Agnew, president and COO, Mobile Satellite Ventures (MSV), North America's premier provider of mobile satellite communications services, will participate on a Satellite 2004 panel, "From Anywhere to Anywhere: What's Happening in Mobile?" on Thursday, March 4, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. in Room 209C at the Washington Convention Center.

Moderated by Susan Irwin, president, Irwin Communications, the panel of international experts will explore new developments and applications for businesses, broadcasters and government agencies that are being made possible by mobile satellite systems.

"We're focusing on the new vertical markets and applications that mobile satellite providers are seeing strong growth in over the next couple of years. The MSS industry's focus has changed dramatically from traditional aeronautical and maritime markets towards a variety of data applications such as homeland security," said Irwin.
