Photo Release -- Proxity Digital Subsidiary Cyber Aerospace Developing High Tech Warfare: UAVs Loaded with Cameras and Weapons Operate Clandestine Recon, Perform Hunter-Killer Missions

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla., April 16, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Cyber Aerospace Corp., the operating subsidiary of On Alert Systems, Inc., a Proxity Digital Networks, Inc. subsidiary (Pink Sheets:PDNW) is developing unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) designed to operate innovative clandestine reconnaissance, surveillance and target acquisition, and perform hunter-killer missions. Cyber Aerospace's first generation models are called Individual Unmanned Air Scouts (IUAS). The IUAS are being designed with an open access airframe fuselage that can be rapidly field-configured with a wide array of cameras, sensors, weapons, and instruments. Their multi-use platforms have applications for Military Warfighters, Homeland Defense, Firefighting, Security, Surveillance and First Response teams.

When fully developed, the IUAS will operate in multiple settings including congested urban and jungle environments, where it is unsafe for conventional UAVs, as well as in desert and mountainous terrain. IUAS will perform traditional UAV surveillance, border patrol, and wide area search and sensing missions but unlike other UAVs the IUAS are being designed to be amphibious, capable of taking off and landing on land or water.

As "sleepers", the IUAS would fly to a location, land and use their own power to operate surveillance monitoring activities. In battlefield situations, this may be the key to surprising enemy elements. With the vertical takeoff and landing capabilities of a helicopter, IUAS would be able to launch and return without a runway, enabling deployment from small, concealed locations, naval ships, and building rooftops.

Jim Alman, Cyber Aerospace President and lead developer of the IUAS states, "Initial testing of the IUAS will take place in early May. I feel confident we can prove the concept and the IUAS should execute advanced maneuvers. Most of the aerodynamic performance modeling has been done and we expect to install the power plant next week. With an estimated gross weight of 10lbs and initial flight expectations of a maximum of 45 minutes, we feel these tests will affirm the technology. Upon successful completion, we plan to accelerate the program developing the final version which we anticipate deploying in both the civilian and military theatres."
