Maxus Signs Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with The State of Nuevo Leon, Mexico, for The Development of Ewaste Recycling & Asset Recovery Services


MORGAN HILL, Calif., April 27, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Maxus Technology Corporation, (OTCBB:MXUS) a leading provider of eWaste and Asset Recovery solutions, today announced that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the State of Nuevo Leon, Mexico to explore collaboration in four key eWaste Recycling and Asset Recovery areas -- knowledge management of the eWaste Industry, develop eWaste recycling programs, develop asset recovery programs to augment eWaste programs, and eWaste infrastructure. Both Maxus and the State of Neuvo also hope to explore joint marketing and technology development within this region, including the City of Monterey that has a population exceeding 3.8 million people.

The connection with State of Nuevo Leon, Mexico will provide Maxus with strategic opportunities to tap into the State of Nuevo Leon, Mexico Company base, and explore joint provision of eWaste Solutions to Mexican multinationals in the region. Similarly, the State of Nuevo Leon, Mexico can leverage on the Maxus presence in Mexico and its proven track record in providing eWaste solutions to leading global companies.
